Tatsuya. The man is a hero to peasants everywhere, and a curse in the mouths of some samurai lords. Wandering the Empire, taking food and shelter whenever offered, this ronin feels that samurai have lost site of their true purpose: to protect the weak. He takes any job where peasants or the like are in danger, and never backs down when protecting them. Some samurai claims he has no honor, but the man fights how he must to protect himself against nobility. For the little man, however, Tatsuya would gladly lay down his life.
He instilled these virtues in the child he adopted and raised, Sanjuro.
